Headed out of town, but don't want the packing headache? Here are the 5 essentials you absolutely need from Amazon that will make you *add to cart*.
I used to be horrible at packing -- truly bad at it. However, when I was packing for a recent trip, I reflected on how I've refined my process over the years (thanks to many tips and tricks from friends and family). I'm no longer stressed about packing for a trip anymore, and that's largely due to these few handy items.
Read on for my top Amazon essentials for travel.
1. Digital Portable Handheld Suitcase Weight
If you're like me and have a history of overweight bags when flying, a handheld portable suitcase weight would be perfect for you. It takes the guess work out of wondering how heavy your bags are.
I also use mine before road trips, too, just to make sure my bag is not to heavy to carry (even if I'm not the one carrying it 😜). Having a portable scale is also perfect for trips when you're bringing lots of souvenirs back, since that's likely to change the initial weight of your bag.
2. Carabineer with Wire Keychain Cable & Key Rings
I'm not sure of the exact reason why, but carabineers always come in handy while traveling. From camping to more glamourous trips, carabineers can be clipped onto your bag or keychain to keep track of items you don't want to lose.
We have this exact pack from Amazon and love it. It comes in handy in so many cases. I love using it to attach collapsible bags and water bottles to my bigger bags when traveling.
3. Stadium-Approved Clear Fanny Pack
Fanny packs have made a comeback this year, and this one makes things even more accessible. We hit a lot of football games in the fall (and sports events all year long), so a stadium-approved fanny pack comes in clutch every time.
I always feel like I can't find my things on vacation, so a see-through bag is super helpful. I just order this exact one and it seems to be holding up great so far!
4. All-in-One Waterproof Cord Storage
We all travel with a million cords (it seems) these days. I don't have this all-in-one waterproof cord storage bag yet, but it has been on my wish list. It has a neat compartment for each cord or charger and a space for earphones, too. This would also make the perfect gift for a tech-savvy traveler.
5. Pack Cubes (Set with Laundry Bag)
Also in my cart is a set of packing cubes! These make it easy to group similar items together, which can make both packing AND unpacking a breeze. I'm all for anything that makes the packing process less of a chore 😊.
