Our Home-Owning Journey
Small-Space Studio
When we were first married, we moved into the tiniest, low-income housing to save money while finishing school.
​
We utilized the heck out of those small spaces and lived without a dishwasher or central AC for 6 months.
​
We believe there's no shame in small spaces, and we still implement space-saving techniques we learned while living in minimal square-footage.
1x1 Apartment
We seriously adored our one bedroom, one bathroom apartment.
​
Saving space here was important, as storage was limited and our main room functioned as an office, too!
​
While waiting for the right opportunity to move, we learned valuable skills in optimizing apartment space.
Our Current Abode
When we found out our offer was accepted on our dream townhome, Annika cried like 18 times (not even exaggerating).

While waiting for it to be built, we decided to start this website. As mentioned above, we didn't want to be "house-poor" but home-focused.
